2022-23 Offseason Domeball
Domeball gives fastpitch players the additional opportunity to keep training during the late Fall and Winter months. The domeball season is an opportunity for players to keep improving on their fastpitch skills in a refreshing and slightly different setup than what we offer with our EPFA Hosted Winter Clinics. Our goal is to provide this kind of offseason opportunity for EP Fastpitch 10U and 12U players. We historically form only one 10U and one 12U domeball team due to league openings, safe warm-up space in domes, and limited availability of indoor practice space.
A domeball interest email will be sent out to those who have registered for summer and/or fall league(s) with EPFA. This will allow for determinations to be made on whether there is enough interest to form a team or not without money being requested. Once enough interest is received, then registration links will be sent to those interested parties. Domeball session one email interest will be sent around August or September depending upon the expediency of the dome league managers sharing league information with EPFA dome director. The process has been first come first served until teams are filled. The same process would occur for session two (if a league has one). This email interest will be sent around October or November following steps mentioned for session one.
EP Fastpitch offseason domeball will comprise of:
• Practices is based on weather and space provided to us.
• Domeball season will be double-header games on either a Saturday or Sunday.
• Domeball tournament participation will be decided amongst the teams and may require additional participation costs.
• Upfront Registration Cost: $260
o Final costs will vary based on the number of tournaments, participating players, league fees, and practice facility rental costs.
• Registration, team rosters, and scheduling will be managed on the website.
• Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be parent volunteers.
• Uniforms may be the previous summer/fall jersey or purchased at an additional cost.
