We will be hosting "Coach Bayer's Fastpitch Camp" in January, conducted by EPHS Softball Varsity Assistant Head Coach, Jim Bayer, featuring instruction from players of the EPHS Softball team. This will be a fun night for girls to attend!
EP Fastpitch does not conduct "tryouts". All girls interested in playing fastpitch are placed on a team. Each spring, players are evaluated for the skills they possess and the evaluation scores will assist us when creating teams. To prepare your daughter for the Player Evaluations, we will conduct a "Evaluation Preview" Clinic to take players through the same skill tests we use during Evaluations so they know what to expect. Attendance for Player Evaluations is mandatory. Details for Player Evaluations will be provided by mid-February. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend Player Evaluations on this date, contact us.

After receiving Player Evaluation scoring data, EP Fastpitch will sort through the results to determine the best way to assemble teams. They should complete forming softball teams prior to Spring Break.
Announcements to families regarding the roster will not be made until coaches are found, certified and assigned to teams. It is our goal to have the team's head coach communicate with teams during Spring Break timing.
Players unable to participate in Player Evaluations will be placed to teams at the discretion of the EP Fastpitch Softball Directors.
After teams are formed and coaches are organized, we hope to arrange time and space for coaches to conduct indoor practices (usually at a nearby elementary school gym). Indoor practices will be anticipated to begin the week after Spring Break.
The City of Eden Prairie will determine when teams will be allowed to use the fields for outdoor practices. Historically, this tends to occur mid-April.

Games end in 65 minutes or 7 innings, whichever comes first, and may end in ties. There will be a 10-15 minute intermission between double-header games.
Brackets will be posted 9 days before the tournament starts.
10U/12U Qualifier dates are June 20-22, 2025.
14U/HS Qualifier dates are July 11-13, 2025.
