Pitching - Jacquelyn Sertic

2018 SEASON (SENIOR): "The Scientist" turned in outstanding senior year ... There was the no-hitter with 15 strikeouts and four walks against South Dakota State (5-11-18) on the Summit League tournament on her way to MVP honors ... The 15 Ks were a season best, one of 18 double-figure strikeout efforts to push career total to 36 ... There was the nine-inning 1-0 win at then No. 10-ranked LSU (3-24-18) in Baton Rogue that included 10 strikeouts, five hits allowed and two walks ... She earned Louisville Slugger/NFCA Pitcher of the Week honors after that ... Six-time Summit League Pitcher of the Week, pushing career total to 16 ... Another NCAA tournament win, a 5-4 decision over Mississippi State (5-18-18) in Tucson ... NFCA All-Midwest Region first team honors after putting together 26-10 record with 12 shutouts and 1.70 earned run average ... Struck out 307, allowed 162 hits and 56 earned runs, and walked 65 in 230.1 innings pitched ... Opponents hit only .193 and she allowed only 10 home runs ... 2017 SEASON (JUNIOR): 
Sertic continued to figure it out with another nationally-ranked win, NFCA All-Midwest Region second team honors and Summit League tournament championship ... Named to all-Summit League first team and all-tournament team ... The starting pitcher in North Dakota State's 3-2 win over eventual national champion Oklahoma (5-19-17) at the NCAA Norman Regional ... Made 50 appearances including 40 starting assignments and 36 complete games ... Finished with 19-24 record with five shutouts, a pair of saves 2.78 earned run average ... Struck out 340 and walked 82 in 292.1 innings pitched ... Opponents hit .229 ... Recorded her third career one-hitter in 1-0 win over Ole Miss (2-11-17) ... Had a pair of two-hitters, including the 4-0 victory over A&M Corpus Christi (3-5-17) ... Notched 12 games with double-figure strikeouts including a career-high and school record tying 19 punch-outs in 12-inning marathon at Georgia Tech (3-25-17) ... The 12 innings pitched also tied a NDSU single-game mark ... Four-time Summit League Pitcher of the Week pushing career total to ten (10) ... Catching - Ellen Larkin

Ellen Larkin is an assistant coach for the University of Northwestern Softball team. Larkin graduated from Northwestern in 2017.

Coach Larkin is  coaching  after making a strong impact as a player for the Eagles. Larkin was the starting catcher at UNW for four seasons and was a co-captain for three seasons. Larkin was named UMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention and NCCAA All-Region in her playing career, and served for two years as the SAAC Chair at Northwestern. 

Prior to coaching at UNW, Larkin has coached youth softball in Rochester, Minnesota and youth and club volleyball in Chaska, Minnesota.

Hitting - Kevin Park

Kevin Park is a long-time Eden Prairie assistant coach who, most recently, was the assistant coach of the 10U Red team. Kevin was specifically responsible for the growth and achievement of the team's hitting mechanics, power, and success. Attributable to his work, this team won the Tier 4 State Championship in the Summer of 2023.

Kevin is a father of two Eden Prairie Fastpitch Association players and comes with a foundational approach to guided, powerful, hitting mechanics. He has been instrumental in the development of many players throughout the last 7 years.
